The Rise of the Finest Basketball
God Prevails is an inspiring docu-series that chronicles the journey of young ladies from around the globe who converge at Cresset Christian Academy in Durham, North Carolina, united by their shared passion for basketball and faith. These girls, aged 12 to 16, come from diverse locations such as Ghana, the Bahamas, Haiti, and many states around the USA.
Through the academy's transformative program, they not only refine their basketball skills but also deepen their Christian faith, building resilience and character. Playing under the team name Finest Basketball Cresset, these athletes pursue their dreams of playing college basketball while navigating the challenges of cultural integration and rigorous training. God Prevails captures their powerful stories of perseverance, faith, and the pursuit of excellence, offering a moving testament to the transformative impact of faith, education, and sport.

Finest Basketball @ Cresset Academy
Finest Basketball at Cresset Academy is Phase 1 of a multi-year development plan to immerse elite level student-athletes from all around the globe in full-time training/development for specific sports, while at the same time, providing high level academics in the classroom. Our professional trainers, coaches, teachers, house parents, and volunteers partner together to disciple our student-athletes with the Gospel of Jesus Christ with hopes that our students will be a light to many in college and beyond.

Finest Volleyball, Finest Track & Field
Phase 2 will include a renewed emphasis on boys basketball, the launch of Finest Volleyball, and Finest Track & field starting in the 2025/26 school year.

Finest Nation
Phase 3 will expand our "Finest"sports and discipleship programs to numerous other educational institutions around the USA in hopes to continue to reach the lost, and share Jesus through elite level sports on a global stage.
