TRINITY JEFFERSON
POINT GUARD
CLASS OF 2027
My first experience with the game of basketball came at the age of 2 when my older siblings were playing. I would be at their practice on the sidelines dribbling the ball trying to mimic what I saw, and it just came natural to me. Ever since then probably not a day has gone by where I haven’t had a ball in my hands.
Part of my motivation is legacy, and honoring my family. In particular the ones who have gone on before me. When I was 8 years old my biological father was tragically killed, and by the time I was 9, i had lost my father, and all of my biological grandparents. I play for them, and try to make them proud in not only basketball, but everything I do knowing that they are watching down on me. My other motivation is proving those that have doubts in me because of my height, or lack their of wrong. My motto on the basketball court is heart over height.
When I’m done playing basketball, I want to get into coaching. I want to give back to others what the game of basketball has given to me. I want to pass on my experience’s to those coming after me. Even at a young age I’ve always had a high basketball IQ, and even now I enjoy passing my knowledge of the game on to my younger teammates, and younger kids. I want to help mold young girls, and boys on and off the court. I also would like to pursue a career in fashion design. There’s not much I can’t do. In other words, remember the name Trinity Jefferson!
