POWER FORWARD
I am in the 8th grade and I am from Accra, Ghana. I started playing basketball when I was 10 years old. My cousin use to take me along anytime he was going to play and that was when I started to learn the game.

My life as a kid hasn’t been easy. There was a lot of harsh struggles which was very challenging for me and I faced discrimination from those in my community ðŸ˜. Having to play basketball and attend school at the same time was very challenging for me because I wasn’t close to either my school or the basketball court. In addition, girls playing sports is not really acceptable where I come from. One day, I was playing basketball and a friend told me about Charm basketball academy. After training at Charm, through God's grace and my best effort and dedication to the game. I earned a scholarship through CBA to go to America and join Finest Basketball @ Cresset Christian Acadamy.

My hopes for the future and with God by my side I will work hard to play the game to my fullest and to get opportunities to play and school at the next level, and also to go back home and to inspire others most importantly girls to get involved and work towards their goals and dreams.
