Finest 7th Grade Black Takes Second In AAU States
The Michigan’s Finest 7th grade Black team finished second in the Michigan AAU D-2 State Championship tournament held in the Grand Rapids area on April 28 and 29. The Team played hard throughout the tournament and posted a 4-2 record. In the tournament finals the team faced the North Court Netters in what turned out to be a close game until the Netters pulled away at the end to win.
Finest 7th Grade Blue Finish 2nd at MGBR Best of Great Lakes
The Michigan’s Finest 7th grade Blue team traveled to Toledo, Ohio on April 21-22 to compete in the Michigan Girls Basketball Report Great Lakes Tournament. The girls defeated teams from Michigan, Ohio and Canada to get to reach the finals and eventually place second in the tournament.

Michigan's Finest 15U Team Wins at Mystic Tournament
Coach Dan Demitroff got the The Michigan's Finest 15U team off to a good start on their season as the team won the Silver bracket in their divsion at the Mystic Invitational on the weekend of April 14.
Finest Teams Successful at Mystic Tournament
The 6th grade and 8th grade Michigan's Finest Blue teams won their respective division at the Mystics Invitational in Flint on April 14-15. Both teams also finished the weekend with perfect 6-0 records.

The mission of the Michigan’s Finest organization is to form elite basketball teams
that will compete in state and national events that help showcase the talent and
competitive desire of our athletes while promoting each players efforts to assist
our athletes to secure scholarships in basketball.
In pursuit of our mission Michigan’s Finest will provide for the care, welfare, safety,
and security, of every player while fostering the development of critical professional
attributes such as teamwork, friendship, strong work ethic, sacrifice, and
sportsmanship that will allow players to be successful both in basketball and life.
